Here's one the liberal side got very wrong.

Don't like someone, ok. but to heckle their children, NEVER ok.

MSNBC Host Makes Fun of Mitt Romney’s Black Grandson
The Wrap By L.A. Ross

MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry concluded the “What’s So Funny About 2013?” segment of her Sunday show with a chorus of laughter at the black grandson pictured in former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s family Christmas photo. The chuckles were directed at baby Kieran – who was adopted by Romney’s son Ben and his wife Andelynne in September.

“One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just isn’t the same,” panelist Pia Glenn offered as a caption for the photo, which the Romneys tweeted on Christmas Eve. (Lyrics of the original Sesame Street song are, “One of these things just doesn’t belong.”)

“And that little baby, front and center, would be the one,” Glenn said.

Comedian Dean Obeidallah joked that the baby is a token.

“It really sums up the diversity of the Republican party and the RNC, where they have the whole convention and they find the one black person.”

Conservative blogs on Monday roundly criticized MSNBC and the panelists for the segment. Commentator Caleb Howe wrote tongue-in-cheek on The Right Scoop: “He’s not a child adopted by loving parents prepared to provide him with a better life in keeping with the family’s values. Nope. He’s just a token. A punchline, not a person.”

“It’s funny because Romney is white and his grandson isn’t, which is obviously hilarious. Because as everyone knows, the races should not mix,” Howe added [emphasis original].

Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain, who ran for president in 2008, also has an adopted child of a different race. McCain’s wife Cindy brought daughter Bridget home after a cyclone relief trip to Bangladesh in 1991.

Glenn acknowledged the controversy on Twitter Monday but fell short of apologizing, instead blaming the producers of the show for springing the photo on her and the panelists.

She wrote in response to a critic, “”Really? You think I’m a producer on the show? You think I chose that photo & new [sic] it was coming?”

“Yes, I sang the song. There are many children in the pic & only 1 black child. I don’t see that as mocking or attacking the baby.”

Harris-Perry and other panelists have thus far remained mum.

Ironically, the segment ends by teasing the next block, an annual “’Look Back in Laughter’ tradition of asking ‘Hey – Was That Racist?’”

Of course, the Duck Dynasty clown is immune from being criticized for a much worse attack because of his so-called "religious beliefs".

Throw religious conservative's own hatred back in their face, and they cry fowl...err, I mean foul.

Yes but deflect just criticism from your own side of the aisle and appear to be a partisan fool.

I agree with Ken M - when political commentators attack the child of a politician they are among the lowest of slimes, the stuff you find growing beneath the terlit when you replace the wax ring. If one uses that slime on the child of a politician one IS that slime. So too are those who let it pass in the name of political expedience - ah well, I didn't do it but it IS another brick in the wall. Yes, a corrupt wall. A wall of slime.

Enjoy!

sorry to change the subject from anecdotal talk shows, ( I agree with you about the slime)
but here's an actual trend:

Repubs believe even less evolution in 2013 than in 2009.

You guys have to actually read the stuff you are commenting on: it says that 60 percent BELIEVE in evolution, not the other way around.

Much more important: Independents poll almost identically to Dems, and neither have changed much over time. It is the Repugs that are going crazier.

On December 28, Congress and Obama cut off extended unemployment benefits.

They harmed 1.3 million Americans.

They did so when they most need help.

They did it disgracefully.

Emergency benefits were previously extended from 40 to 73 weeks.

Winners include bankers, war profiteers, other corporate favorites, mufti-millionaires and billionaires.

Instead you stupid people are saying nothing except stupid sh!t about repubs and demos.

You people are just plain politard retard nutcases .....

And where I might even agree with Madbolter's usual stance that the Founding Father's perfection of intent has now been corrupted by lesser men:

It is certain in theory, that the only moral foundation of government is the consent of the people. But to what an extent shall we carry this principle?

...

Depend upon it, sir, it is dangerous to open so fruitful a source of controversy and altercation, as would be opened by attempting to alter the qualifications of voters. There will be no end of it. New claims will arise. Women will demand a vote. Lads from 12 to 21 will think their rights not enough attended to, and every man, who has not a farthing, will demand an equal voice with any other in all acts of state. It tends to confound and destroy all distinctions, and prostrate all ranks, to one common level.

Both wings of the U.S. government are of the same bird.....Quack!

Another of a long line of nonsensical dogma.
Like the nonsensical mantras "Tax and Spend Liberal" or Fiscally Responsible Conservative.

The truth is that the corruption of unfettered campaign finance with the covert intent of furthering the agenda of multinational business interests IS all too prevalent in both political parties.
But the parties are very different and pursue very different goals as pertains to the American People.
But those multinational business interests are as pleased as pie and laughing all the way to their bank knowing their rhetoric has you convinced. You are part of the problem.

On December 28, Congress and Obama cut off extended unemployment benefits.

What? Did they legalize pot in the valley?

Pass it around Werner.

President Barack Obama also weighed in Friday, according to the White House. In a phone call to Sens. Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island, and Dean Heller, R-Nevada, Obama voiced his own support for reinstating the prolonged unemployment benefits, the goal of a bill co-sponsored by the two men

You are the disgrace, can't you get anything right? wrong about everything?
Obama had no part in this

It was 100% the Republican House that refused to extend these benefits, and they also cut $40 billion in food stamp benefits

Obama and the Dems were fighting to extend the benefits, the republicans CUT THEM
can you understand now?
the 2 different sides are diametrically opposed!

one side doesn't care if millions starve, the other side fights to stop the new cuts that will cause millions to starve.

Maybe the stupid Republicans will figure out who cut their last hope for a future, since it's mostly the South that sucks on the Gov. teat, along with Vets, children and the disabled.

The Republican Governors have decimated the Southern States as far as jobs go, what do these people have left other than Anger and seething hate.

That's why we're seeing such monumental changes from one administration to the next.

Still at war? Check.
Increased spying and surveillance? Check.
An ever more slumping economy? Check.
The continued militarization of police? Check.

I'm sure there are a few more.

They're all puppets for the 1% elite/Zionist Rothchilds.

pic deleted out of respect.
