Speaking of lies, how about Obama latest whopper?

“you really liked that plan, what we said was you could keep it, if it hasn’t changed since the law passed.”

The so called Christian republican party is full of liars and hypocrites.

"'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour."

"Matthew 25:34-36 Then the king will say to those at his right hand, "Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me."

"Mark 10:21-22 Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, "You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me." When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions."

"Mark 12:41-44 He sat down opposite the treasury, and watched the crowd putting money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. 42 A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which are worth a penny. 43 Then he called his disciples and said to them, "Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury. 44 For all of them have contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on."

I don't agree Bob. I think most dyed in the wool republicans KNOW it.

And they vote for them anyway.

You see what I am saying?

But you know what? Democrats in Congress are a pack of f*#king liars and cheats too.

Whaddaya gonna do?

Vote party lines, same as the republicans?

Actually it doesn't matter, the machine has spun up and the ball bearings have no real vote at all.

People got to have an enemy... a bad guy. It's too upsetting to deal with the fact that their guys are scum, too.

My health care plan has changed literally every year even though I've often stayed with the same company on the same general coverage level. My costs went up every single year that I've had health insurance since the early 2000's. Anyone who is pretending that they had the "exact same plan" year after year after year is crazy. Insurance companies are constantly renegotiating deals, switching preferred providers and preferred drugs and change the fee/cost structure and then giving it the same label. If you were paying attention you'd have known that the ACA was going to force insurers to stop offering bare bones policies. That's a hard thing to learn if you only get your news from right wing aggregators.

I voted for him ONCE, cragman. How many times did you vote for W and Romney?

Don't bother Gary, cragman won't answer.

He doesn't have the sac to allow his own choices to be held to scrutiny.

He's never posted anything of substance on these political threads.

His only purpose in posting here has been to reaffirm his hatred for other Americans.

Hahahahaha - a great laugh to get the day going...

http://variety.com/2013/film/news/clint-eastwood-republican-convention-speech-double-down-1200796980/

In his hotel, Eastwood was listening to an oldies station and heard Neil Diamond’s “I Am…I Said,” which features a line about talking to a chair, the authors write. Just before making his entrance on stage, Eastwood asked a stage hand to put a stool on stage to the left of the podium. The result was a mixture of standup and surrealism, and while Eastwood recovered somewhat by the end of his speech, campaign aides were fuming.

Romney’s senior strategist, Stuart Stevens, was backstage with Romney watching Eastwood, and while the Republican nominee “seemed to think it was funny — at least at first,” the authors write, Stevens was so upset by the “disaster occurring on stage” that he “excused himself, went into another room and vomited.”

The ACA was the compromise.

Whenever you login can be guaranteed to see this thread
on top of the forum...Is it because most people on here hope for
some kind of government benefits in near future? My generation will not have any benefits when we get older, SSI, etc because Democrats will bankrupt this country. There'll be nothing here for my generation, thanks to liberal boomers ruining it all.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness

It is true that selfishness wasn't what made the humankind...
Humans existed in tribes that were support networks for their members.
However, at this point, the only true form of selfishness
is continuing to breed in overpopulated, resource-strained
Earth conditions. No "Republican selfishness" can compare to selfishness
of people who breed, so the whole discussion is pointless.
At least Republican policies can stop all the welfare recipients from
popping out some more. Dems just encourage more of that.
And everyone is owed a sh##tload of course, just cause they're born.
Even Commies made more sense, as they guaranteed job to everyone.
