Bluering...

Here's 2 simple questions for you - let's see if you dare to answer them.

Ready?

1). Who wrote the budget for fiscal year 2009?

And

2). What was the budget deficit that year?

Cowards.......anyone can rant. If you want to change the world do it. You have the power.

Edit: well, thinking about what I just said and all the posts here I conclude there is mostly negative power, no caring about the rest of the folk power, so forget changing the world, or even your neighborhood.

"Senator Obama voted YES on Bush Debt every time he was given the chance."

Except that, of course, Bush himself held veto power over every budget, and dems didn't have the 2/3 majority to override.

You want to try to blame Obama that Bush didn't exercise his own veto power? Hahahaha

Good luck with that, kid.

Wingnut gets called out to back up his BS with facts

Wingnut subsequently disappears, running away like a scalded cat

Repeated over and over again, ad nauseum

Meanwhile their party is headed for oblivion, and they can't understand why

Hey pathetic idiot Bluering

What does it say ON THE CHART YOU POSTED

IT SAYS "FISCAL YEAR ENDS SEPT. 30"

NOW LOOK AT THE BAR GRAPH FOR 2009

DO YOU HAVE A CLUE YET

And why was the "Last GOP Budget", as indicated in that chart, in 2007, when Bush had veto power over the 2008 and 2009 budgets

WHY IS IT SO EASY TO LIE TO YOU IDIOTS

they ignore evidence, use cherry-picked data, pollute the discussion, and distract from the real problem.

They are simply, plainly—and dangerously—wrong

The kool aid and tea bagger thing is getting old.

You're right. But so is the whole shtick of touting some blogsturbator's wet dream as a reliable news source. I assume you're smarter than that...

why big government is a bad idea:

http://hotair.com/archives/2013/05/10/fbi-to-boston-you-knew-about-tsarnaev-from-jttf-files/

the bigger a gov gets the less effective it becomes...to the point that it can't even fulfill its most important function--protecting the citizens

this lesson has been repeated throughout history...why don't libs get it?

The bigger gov't gets, the harder it is for the agencies that wouldn't exist w/o big gov't in the first place to communicate with each other

Therefore let's eliminate the agencies which comprise big gov't, then they'll be able to communicate more effectively with each other when they don't exist anymore

Great article AndyO

I especially liked the summary sentence -

Ryan and his party are so certain of these foundations his worldview rests upon that he can’t even be bothered to look down at the rubble all around his feet.

Lynne, we aren't being negative, we are just having a passionate discussion On Trying to Change the world for the Better! For all Folks!!

You should step back into politics if you want to do some good for the planet, because that's the only place change can happen
Praying for things to change hasn't worked yet, you have to change hearts and minds of your fellow citizens.
And the Republican Party is Pure evil, I can't understand why you can't see that, answer this one question, Would Jesus be in favor of defunding all social programs so the rich can have lower taxes, and Corporations can have More Power?

The Dems are at least trying to serve all Americans, not just the special interests.

The more liberal progressive the Gov. gets, the better our Country will be.
That doesn't mean Bigger Gov. that means Better Gov.

Blah, blah, blah...debts, deficits, etc.

Newsflash: deficits and debts go UP during recessions. This recession was a real mother f*#ker too.

We should be worried about unemployment and pay down the debt when full employment and robust tax rolls return.

So no, I don't really give a crap about deficits or debts now.

Austerity measures have crippled England and returned it to a recession.

Right wingers don't give a rats ass, tho. Live and don't learn.

What was the driver for the first GREAT depression?? Was it not the production of money in a non controlled manner that went far past the reserves and actual available currency? Printing worthless money to cover debts..?

Nope. Manufacturing over-production and over-surplus was the main cause.

http://www.etoro.com/education/primary-cause-great-depression.aspx

And it was the massive gov't deficit spending to pay for a little thing called World War 2 that ended the depression.

No.

There are a number of things that triggered the Great Depression, but monetary policy is low on the list.

What made the great depression worse was that banks refused to lend and the government initially discouraged lending by raising interest rates.

Stock market crash, and bank failures were among the top reasons of the depression, along with reduced spending by the populous and the drought. Or at least thats what i thought.

I love how you all continue to argue with Ron. It's like a freaking echo chamber. He won't change his mind, you won't change yours.

I mean, really, Hedge? I actually agree with many if not most of your opinions but you, sir, are a douchebag. Your childish words make rational democrats like me look bad. Stop doing that.

Edit: I shouldn't have called you a douchebag. Name calling makes me just as bad as you. My apologies.
