"now, the most progressive nation in europe with a proud history of resisting oppression has regressed to one of the uglier chapters in history"

What on earth does this have to do with progressive/liberal politics and policies?

If Romney had won by just 1 million votes you can bet your ass the GOP and FauxNews would now be touting the HUGE landslide that elected Romney and what a GRAND mandate the poor man was operating under.

Agreed,

My point was that its stupid. Its stupid for the GOP to act like they are the kings and its stupid for the Dems to.

I do agree with Werner that you have to wield your power. The question to me is a matter of how you go about it. I believe somehow we have to learn how to act with respect towards each other, though I don't really know how because I have lost all respect for those who liked Cheney, Rumsfeld and that gang and still defend them.

Its a confusing subject for me because I want to be respectful, but I was tired of how Fatty treated me and I would still like revenge. I can't seem to let it go, and that is part of my point. Because the pendulum does swing, its not a good thing to treat others disrespectfully, even if you are in power right now.

The rationale is this: Wanton liberal social policy has allowed for the establishment of elements of social moral decay, commonly known as immigrants.

The solution, historically referred to as "the final solution" in some situations, is the forced removal and supression of all such identified "impure" elements, using methods and policy more aligned with right wing authoritarianism.

Bookworms rationale is that if they had just started with the Right Wing Authoritarian fascist social order to start with, the annoying liberalism would never have created the problem in the first place. All would have been ruthlessly enforced peace, tranquility and pureness. Kind of like heaven on earth.

The Military-industrial complex is a sacred cow that gives no milk. It's unconscionable that with the "fiscal cliff" approaching that more attention to the bloated military isn't under discussion and worse that the GOP (who claim to be so frugal on spending) offer NO cuts to military spending while taking money from the Old and sick.

It's as if a guy was hoarding guns and told his aging dad, "Sorry Dad, you can't go to the doctor because I have to spend the money on a new assault rifle in case the Muslims invade and the other 10 assault rifles I already have jam or fail.

Best to just go over the cliff and negotiate taxes and cuts from a position of strength than sell out the country to the rich and the tools of war.

Peace

This is why you are a pathetic imbicile if you have ever believed anything fox news has said about being fair and balanced...

How much patience should we have for idiots

. Maddow: Secret Petraeus audio means Fox News ‘officially’ part of the GOP

When Fox News chief Roger Ailes sent one of his national security correspondents to interview then-General David Petraeus in 2011, chances are he didn’t want the full conversation to ever see the light of day —because if it did, the network’s claim of being “fair and balanced” could be forever buried.

As it happened, someone was recording. The Washington Post revealed Monday that Ailes had contributor K.T. Mcfarland deliver a message to Petraeus directly: run for president as a Republican and News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch will bankroll you.

Audio of the discussion, published by reporter Bob Woodward, was aired again Tuesday night by MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, who couldn’t quite figure out why such a “strange bombshell” of a story would run in the Post‘s “Style” section instead of near the front of the paper.

“That recording was made April 16th of last year,” she explained. “A week and a half later the president announced he was nominating General Petraeus to head the CIA. Right before the president announced him as his choice, the chairman of Fox News was urging the general not to take the job, not to take any job short of being of the Joint Chiefs, saying he should run for president instead as a Republican against President Obama in this past election. And it’s all on tape.”

Late Votes and the True Vote Model indicate that Obama may have won by 16 million votes

The fuggers admit while news cameras roll that the Voter Fraud initiatives were designed to suppress the vote, and nothing happens to them. That and Fox News, yes they make me sick.

The day we all feared has finally come, when people who live off others and demand they be cared for outnumber the ones they live off.

That will never happen. It takes a lot of people to maintain the capitalists at the level to which they have become acustomed. The Wall Streeters will continue to live off of us, but their numbers will always be low. It's just simple math.

I just saw Mitt Romney shopping at Vons.

If I didn't know he lived in town, I probably wouldn't have recognized him, even though we walked right by each other. No make up, hair not styled - looked like Joe Blow.

He was alone, wearing faded blue jeans and a plaid shirt tucked in.

All he bought was a bottle.

REPUBS HAVE FAILED
