What you got your panties in a bunch about? The only thing Obama is talking about is raising taxes on people making over $250,000 a year 4% and that's only on the money they make OVER $250,000 and you act like the sky is falling.
Now I bet if they came out and said, OK, we're cutting spending by reducing social security benefits by 4% for seniors (and on their whole check, not just part of it like the tax thing) you'd be just fine.
Even though the tax rate going back to what it was (still near historic lows) wouldn't affect you or your friends and cutting social security would affect lots of your friends.

Bad enough it happens. Worse yet they speak openly of it figuring nothing could ever happen to them. And realistically, it probably won't, but let's not have that be our fault.
It's great to see Romney's totally lame "free stuff" excuse for losing the election strike such rapid and persistent resonance with the new wingnut base of the republican party. Guys like TGT, Donald, Ron, and Blue bought the meme hook, line and sinker. Hell, Karl Rove himself couldn't have done better and Romney did it for nothing. And given the obvious racial code-wording and the fast uptake you can tell right off republicans aren't going to be able to pull off any of the changes to their base necessary to win in 2016 and 2020.
And that is exactly as predicted - you just can't run forty years worth of campaigns on racism, homophobia, sexism, and xenophobia and then, on a dime, expect to pull a 180 degree U-turn explaining we now be 'inclusive' to all those "takers". So who could have imagined, in defeat, Romney and Ryan would mouth the few short words sealing the fate of their party for at least the next eight to twelve years.
So thanks guys, with every delusional post here you indicate just what the prevailing level of intransigent fealty to the wingnut media bubble is. Your aversion to the truth and enduring -isms have made grumpy old white men permanently irrelevant at a speed never before thought possible. Bravo!
