Kman hedge needs you help go seek him.
And survival, i thought i DID answer that. Its the same reason i voted dem a lot when i was in the forest service- it was a known by everyone fact that when the dems were in MORE GOVT monies came to them.
as per gays in the military - sure why not/as long as they obey the standards of the branch they serve. Im sure there are gays that have died for the cause and nothing BUT a SALUTE is in order. I personally dont agree with nor buy the whole gay by birth thing. Ive seen wayyy to much proof of that being simply a myth. But ITS NOT MY BUSINESS who wants what. That again is a personal choice- much like abortion.

Ron, if you're ok with gays and gays in the military, and you believe reproductive choices should be left to the woman, and you believe that both parties have their share of "untruth", and you are sensitive to native American issues....
I'm curious how you manage to squeeze republican out of all that.

Well, everyone including Ron has a right to their own opinions.
Ron said:

Ron believes that it is a "choice" to be homosexual.
This "belief" of Ron's has been repeatedly proven wrong by countless sociological studies.
When I personally reflect on this issue, I can't help but think about my brother.
My brother did not "choose" to be homosexual, he was born that way. We all knew it when he was very young. He did not "act gay" in the sense of being effeminate, he just was attracted to males instead of females. This was back in the 1960s, and there was zero "tolerance" for kids like him, no compassion, and no "understanding".
He was constantly mocked, beat up, and spit on by "straight" boys.
My brother could not understand what he had "done" to make those boys hate him so much. He talked about killing himself, a lot. He said he hated himself because he knew he just liked boys instead of girls, could not "help" it, and hated himself for it.
When I think back on all he went through and how much I love him as my brother, well it really really bothers me when I hear people say they "believe" that he "chose" to be the way he is, that he was not born that way. I know otherwise.

I was in middle school, called jr high then, from '68-70 there pregnant girls, abortions, and named mothers then Ron, this is a fact of live not a byproduct of some liberal agenda. Unfortunately back then birth control was much more limited, and abortion scarier than now.
Controlling women is a messy business.
And the more you drive women down, the messier and more back alley the solutions become. Religious doctrine should not control our birth control options or educational systems. They're all f*#kin taliban at the core, these fundamentalists, they just sport a different set of robes, maybe eat pork or no.

Brainchild Romney:
Romney told the Columbus Dispatch newspaper people do not die from lack of insurance, saying: "No, you go to the hospital, you get treated, you get care, and it’s paid for, either by charity, the government or by the hospital. We don’t have people that become ill, who die in their apartment because they don’t have insurance." In fact, a 2009 study by researchers at Harvard Medical School found 45,000 people die in the United States each year due largely to a lack of health insurance and inability to access quality care. That comes out to one death every 12 seconds.

Come back when you're serious.
No, seriously, this is REALLY a great read:
'You should laugh, because this stuff is a joke, and we shouldn't take it seriously.'
I've never thought much of Joe Biden. But man, did he get it right in last night's debate, and not just because he walloped sniveling little Paul Ryan on the facts. ... Biden did absolutely roll his eyes, snort, laugh derisively and throw his hands up in the air whenever Ryan trotted out his little beady-eyed BS-isms.
But he should have! ... We should all be rolling our eyes, and scoffing and saying, "Come back when you're serious."
 Matt Taibbi
ho man, Taibbi nails it:
The load of balls that both Romney and Ryan have been pushing out there for this whole election season is simply not intellectually serious. Most of their platform isn't even a real platform, it's a fourth-rate parlor trick designed to paper over the real agenda – cutting taxes even more for super-rich dickheads like Mitt Romney, and getting everyone else to pay the bill.

Norton, ive known two guys that were "gay" whom said they had always been gay- an acted as such. Roll forward to the now, and they are both married in hetero relationships, and dont act as they did before. How do you explain that? I also know another Gay guy that was once married in a hetero relationship then gay..He too began to act ans speak differently . Those are my own experiences with immediate friends. What else am i to conclude.?

That's what we call anecdotal evidence, Ron. That's what you should conclude.
Most gays stay that way. There are bisexuals out there, maybe that's what you saw. Maybe those guys caved in to societal pressure and are wearing the ol' beard with breasts.
People have the right to choose their partner. So long as they are human, adult, and it's consensual, of course. There are more than enough people on this planet that we don't have to follow outdated religious edicts that encourage us to populate the world. Mission accomplished. Billions of f*#kwits populate the Earth, praise Jehovah.

as usual you come off like an idiot on almost every issue
There is a certain percentage of the population that are born gay, and this has been true since the beginning of time
and your anecdotal evidence is just BS, or what you call facts
some gays will deny their sexual identity
That does not make being gay a choice!
But of course I am hetero, but I respect the individual to make their own choice, not the Gov.
