A steady, mostly lighter snow has been falling all day. Starting to get heavier now in intensity....very fluffy stuff! Presently 31F and falling, with light winds. Only about 2 inches of snow here though.

Saw a Facebook photo of someone skating on Lake Mary a couple of days ago, perfectly clear ice, light snow cover on the mountains. Guess that'll be the last of THAT nonsense till next year.

We have clearly entered our cold December days....historically the coldest month here on the east side each winter.
Presently 6F and zero wind. The ice is building up FAST!

There were 3 lines led (1 by me) on Chouinard falls. Protection was good. Left side was very thin and not formed for the most part. Bottom part of the main wall was not thick enough to be climbed (by me at least). Approach was not as bad as I thought it would be. Not a snow trail, but doable for those who want to play on some early ice. Took us about 45 mins or so without hauling ass.
