Blustery night, which brought temperatures back up considerably. Low this morning of 40F....gusty winds and mostly cloudy, with intermittent rain squalls on top of slush.

Enjoy.
Oh......and it's a Very Warm Storm....last night was 54 degrees here at 2850 feet.....usually about 45 in a winter storm.

It has been pouring here in South Reno. Winds up to 56mph last night, a bit breezy when I was trying to go to bed.
Ridiculous amount of snow expected in Tahoe this weekend up high...

Yeah, I'm afraid we are going to see a serious warm-up by tomorrow, leading to some VERY serious flooding. This stuff coming down now is cement.

Hope it goes well in your neck of the woods, Dean. We are anticipating flooding here as well...three sites in town already distributing sandbags. Supposed to be similar to the '05 flood moreso than the '97 flood. Was out of town for the 05 one but have seen pictures of both and I hope that neither comes to fruition.

Thanks. My girlfriend and I rent her Mom's old house and she said that the floodwaters were pretty close last time. And to think, when I moved out of the swamps of South Florida I thought I was done with flooding...meh
