They all lived in the desert, there was no water there, no TV, just a bunch of rocks and sand. They came from near and far to squeeze the life outa this god forsaken place.

Sane folks, still scratch their heads in wonderment why these people did this. Materialism failed.

Send it onwards ........

c'est moi, circa 1956, sportin' a wig purloined at a Morongo Valley thrift store.
The ensemble included a darling pair of earings, which I lost to Mike Paul, after I wagered he couldn't do StemGem, backwards, blindfolded...

I've got some new Stem Gem shots.....Not the same. I know, I know. I can't wait till end o March. I am going to tour my friend right over to campsite 23, and if he can send that pup, I am then going to tell him that the big boys did it backwards. I only WISH I had known this last trip, when I was shooting pictures of 4-5 guys working that baby.

By the way - these old photo threads are just incredible. I really do enjoy reading the stories and seeing the pictures.

Typical day at Josh would start with some coffee up on top of Intersection Rock:

Then some of what Bachar calls bouldering:

Then maybe some real bouldering at Turtle Rock:

Then finish the day off by doing the Gunsmoke until you throw up:

Hey Mussy, let's see a shot or rather, partial shot of that Giant Ass eh?

I once had a beauty you sent(in a classified, secured pouch), on Polaroid, Titled Plummers butt or something- 'was from a hang board routine. 'Just tossed it a while back, 'cuz I was sooo offended every time I sorted my old pics.

Butt, now, I recant, repent, even pine the loss of such irreverent hooey and its most relevent potential use, at this time...

Just got back from a trip to Hueco and Juarez.... had to try the local juice from down there.... we liked it!!! We stood around and passed that bottle between us until it was gone....

then Mike Paul fell over flat onto his back. We put him in his truck to rest up while the still standing went to town for dinner. When we returned, Mike was gone!!! Seemed he had some laundry to do after the projectile vomit session in the back of his camper shell. Yikes!

Here is Mike on Cilleys Cadillac celebrating with the stuffed armadillo I brought back from Juarez.

'K,
Ya'll are sooo nice. This is fun. I'm like, toe-tilee enjoying myself.

T Rainbow, don't think for a minute you should be slammed down by Kofi Hooey Annus like that.

Anyhoo, while we were making friends upthread, I had to get on my bike and go beat the livin' crap out of a nice 5.7 pitch, then have a beer with Corey Dudley(Russ, hadn't seen him in 5 years).

Werner: I now do admin and sales in support of a company that repairs windshields for business jets. Before that, I repped Rock shoes for a stint, before that I sold fine wine, before that I was a nanny(no lie), before that I did sales and admin for an orthotics company. Before that, I did lighting and stage support for a ballet company. Thanks fer asking Werner.

'K Susan: nice dodge with the "no way yer gettin a picture of Mussy's Ass Turdbuster"- listen up girlfriend: I'm the Bidus.I deserve it. I demand it.

So I've been working really, really hard at this and I have some more 'Ole JT Pic-hures ready.

But first, sorry pc, but I don't have time right now to do my own personals ditty, (what with "Deep Space Mussy" an' all) and the happiegrrrl and t*r, asked nice and I'm a total pushover If'n I'm anything, so before I post a nice clean simple pic of Walt doing a first ascent, I have some: [then ya, but wutabout now?] pics.

'K, here goes.

This 'un is Russ:
-oops that's Roy, Russ's dad. (uh, uh, NO lie) Ask Russ. Go Ahead.
But I know fer darn tootin' those are Russes's pants, that Roy is sportin', in that pic.

'K, heres, like, well I don't have any pic's of me, but this is my second cousin, so with quite a likeness, this is:
