If you'd been into those way out golf-pro-fashion rigs, both pants and shoes, such as posted on the Dear Gramicc thread, we could've avoided tom follery of the green PA kind.
And, gee, would "Old School JT Bouldering" really be proper without some Zippy the Pinhead action to dile us in? Heh? at least for intermission?
