Having been up there, it is cool to try to imagine where they were at various points. A very cool story.

as Barbarian said in his first post, I never tire of reading this wonderful account of a magnificent climb. Every time I look up at Sentinel, I think of Steck (who frequents Sierra Nevada Section AAC events) and Salathe whom I met once on The Hand (his route) in the Pinnacles BITD.
A brilliant climb done by brilliant climbers. I still harbor a hope of getting up this route, Real Soon Now, before it's Too Late.
