Awesome stzzo, you nailed it.
Locker edit: It was mostly me colliding with Wesley again. That's what started it as I recall. And then I had to jump on the death-to-sexism soapbox due to some real boneheads on here. All you really missed were several pairs of jiggling mammaries.

I still don't know why its sexist to enjoy pictures of womens breast. I understand that it could easily turn into objectification, but the same is true of the male body.

ST'ers just love to rant about 'oppression' and 'freedom of speech' on threads like these. Like there's some big conspiratorial oppressive big brother out there keepin' the little guy down. I don't know if that kind of thinking is more victim-oriented, or completely ignorant/naive.
This is a commercial website, with a forum that was created to support the website's goals and interests. Those goals have a whole lot more to do with climbing than they do with tatas, politics, or wolves. The fact that most of those topics are allowed at all is pretty impressive, and speaks to the understanding that the owners have that climbers hold pretty broad, unrestrained interests.
If you really think there is an internet big brother who is squashing all of your brilliance here at ST, there's some nice land in Area 51 I'd like to show you...

"It's sexist to objectify women. Pictures of women's breasts often are a symptom of objectification."
So where's the line between art and objectification? Bullwinkle's hardbodies are certainly more towards art, but any honest male would admit they are reaaaallllly fun to look at, too.

It's sexist to objectify women.
Thanks Stzzo, I was going to debate this, but after looking at one of the definitions of sexism, ie. attitudes or behavior based on traditional stereotypes of sexual roles, I realized that objectification leads to a stereotype that women are only good for sex.
thanks for the help in understanding.
But I still like pictures of womens breasts.

It's all Pates fault. His big trout appreciation thread was the model for the indiscretion. Somewhere along the line things got fuzzy and all hell broke loose. But it was fun, wasn't it?
