I've been biking a lot this past month with all the beautiful weather. A few of my routes take me up by UCSC where Zach lost his young and beautiful life.
It breaks my heart that this beautiful young man is not getting to bask in the beauty of Santa Cruz and Yosemite.
Warm thoughts for his family and friends...

As soon as I saw the thread I did shudder. So very, very sad.
Thank you for bumping...I bike a lot and so often think of Zach. And of course when I'm on Empire Grade I usually tear up.

I've been thinking of Zach this week...
A really lovely female cyclist from Chico was killed by a distracted driver last week, not sure if the driver was on their cell phone.
