A year flies by so quickly. Zach has lived on so richly through his friends. Thinking about his Mom. Heartbreak.

One year on, and many of Zach's friends came out to remember him.

Today is a year plus one day since Zach's death. There was a ride up to his ghost bike and avocado, pizza and beer (all his favorites). Lots of friends there remembering.

Some new photos showed up on the Facebook page. I don't think Mittens or Ryan will mind if I post them up here.

It is so hard for me to come to grips with such a tragic end to a beautiful
Life...especially with my own son so close in age. And the young teenage picture...just ripped my heart out....how I remember that look...

Such a wonderful circle of friends...a profound comfort to his Mom I'm sure...

Jahil and Mike, TFPU as I wish I could have been there. Looks like a lot of good folks showed up to spread the love.

Looks like the last climbing picture might be Big Chief in Tahoe?

Stopped by Zach's memorial at UCSC last weekend on my way to a play. The plants there are flourishing and the written tributes haven't faded. Hope the University continues to honor Zach in this way.

Belayed at Pac. Edge and was showing my sister around to the wall I thought was a Sharma image wall. Instead it was all about Zach. How wonderful of the owners.

Yeah, looks like Totally Chawsome at Big Chief.

I remember him as such a positive presence here and was bummed when I heard of his passing. People in cars need to look out for bicyclists. The cars win every time and somebody's loved on is gone.

I didn't know Zach, but I am happy to see that he had so many good friends who continue to remember and honor him. That tells me a lot about him!
