just finished with ducks..
ducks goalie Anderson took a forehead slap shot puck then fell over..
he got up played the rest of the game

Great show by the Isles last night to take the series lead from the Panthers in double OT: blocked penalty shot in first OT, backup goaltender standing on his head, and a lot of effort with a road win.

One side of me wants the hawks. But I know if the hawks get past the blues tonight, they lose in the next round. I think the blues *deserve* the next round, particularly their long suffering fans; and I can relate, I'm a long suffering Cubs fan.
If the hawks lose tonight, Go Blues!

I wouldn't be so sure about the future of either team. Based on what I've seen the Blues and Hawks current quality of play would dominate all other playoff teams except for the Pens. They are playing at a different speed than the rest of the playoffs. Not sure either team can keep it up though.....

So fired up for Game 7 that I can't get work done today. My prediction: Blackhawks v. a bunch of former Blackhawks (aka Stars) in Round Two. I pity the fool that thinks otherwise.
The real question, is which sweater to wear. Hmmmmnnnn.... I think I'll go #18, Denis Savard.

Congrats to the Blues! I turned off the game @ 2-0 (frustrated and needed to catch the early train into the city this morning for a meeting). Blues just attacked so violently in those first 8 minutes. Just slap shot after slap shot really rattled Crawford. Great game plan.

Just saw that Game 7 between the Hawks and Blues was the most watched telecast in the history of Fox Sports Midwest. A testament to how good the game was.
