This message came from Yosemite Climbing Ranger Lincoln Else:

We're putting together another work day for this Saturday (the 15th). We'll be working on the "Five Open Books" area trying to finish up what we started a few weeks ago with the "Climb for Yosemite" folks.

The plan is to meet at nine in the morning in the Lower Falls parking area (by the big boulder near the bathrooms). Depending on how many people we get,
we may be able to finish up the area and send part of the group up toward Reed's Pinnacle to start some work up there.

If you know of anyone that might be interested in helping out have them give me a call or drop me an e-mail.

I managed to grab a site in the Volunteer Campground (Yellow Pines) for Friday and Saturday night for anyone planning to help out. People can show up Friday, work on Saturday, and then enjoy a day of climbing Sunday. The more folks we can get the better...

Thanks a lot, and I look forward to seeing up this way soon!

Cheers,

If you are interested in snagging a site in the Volunteer Camp Ground give me call at (209) 372-0354 so that I know how many folks are crashing. I can also give you the info on how to find it etc.

Hope to see you on Saturday!

..."and the best poster in a supporting role goes to..."

a big award presentation party, then the after parties...
