i'd rather see us drive away the ugly stuff

I think it's working. Right now we have the most climbing related topics on the front page that we've had for years. Let's keep it going.

It's not that complicated - Luv Existed BITD because:

A. We were teenagers or at least single 20 somethings.
B. Testosterone was in great supply.
C. We had hair.
D. No one we knew was fat or dead.
E. Weed was cheap and plentiful.
F. Girls were up to their hoo-hoos in "being liberated".

In the "Now" - we are more likely to be overweight, balding, limp penised, old farts tending to reminisce too much and complain about intolerance when the real truth is that our feet hurt, we hate kids on our lawn and anyone who's a dick pisses us off and makes us get loud.

:) :) :)

I'm a fan of Supertopo. I've been clicking here for about eight years now. First time I came here, I was just looking for beta.

These days, I don't climb six days a week, I'm well into my thirties, and I discuss other things with folks I've bantered with for the better part of a decade.

I'm a climber, but the tribe is what keeps me around.

Plus, I'm a fan of the building thread. It's so cool to see what other people do outside of the climbing context.

Thanks Chris.

I think Pate loves very large trout. Although only in a manly man kind of way. Not the way some of you probably think.

Dwain's love for Gertrude (and her tragic failure to respect that love) is also well known here as well.

This is what I love about S.T.

The other "climbing" sites are boring. Here is where the personalities shine!
