Check out Jeff Mathis with his Long Dong! (LD was a super long lost arrow, BTW)
What did people do with those, BITD? World-class booger retrieval, methinks.

1976, Roy Boy, Goat Rocks, during a circumnavigation of Mount Adams, Great Pac Northwest!
Woolrich shirt & winter weight knickers. Full-length bi-color gaiters, REI glacier glasses, Galibier Super Guides, 75 cm wood shafted ice ax. (I think firemen use those axes now?)

I've had my ear to the tracks. I've taken a look around. 70s psychedelia is making a comeback in the garment industry, especially with the lady crushers.
(That's ladies who crush, BTW. Not the chick magnets they flock to.)

Not even kidding about the 70s psychedelia retro hitting the streets lately.
The hip and sassy slaydies are all about it.

As for the guys, probably more about Halloween costume, but hey:

Dave Harden,

Thanks for that photo of Doug Nidever. It's the earliest vintage image I've seen of the man.
I'll forward that on to him!

Yeah, throwpie: Peggy Lou!
I was about to post that iconic image of yours myself. Glad you got around to it!

Herr Nidever seems to be sporting a Dachstein sweater,Roy.

Great page-full of memories here.

This charming young gal, Linda Halvorsen, ran with our esteemed pal Mathis.
