Rocky and Bullwinkle!!! Bullwinkles voice, body (looks like a turd with twig arms and legs) and comments to this day, bust me up big time...
(I wish it was on late nights so I could still watch it)

I like the art work in those old MGM cartoons from the '30s/'40s. great color.
Of course, the best is South Park.

Childhood television favorites:
Little Lulu, Baby Huey and early Casper the Friendly Ghost/early
Popeye.
Also Gumby for the uniqueness of claymation at the time. Loved how they could squih through walls and change shapes and stuff.
Davey & Goliath because of the way Goliath would say "Day-veeee."

I'm with locker on this one - cutting sarcasm... deep cynicism, and entertaining to boot!
Natasia, Boris, Poindexter, fractured fairy tails... always two story tracks, one for kids the other for adults (if they were paying attention).
Need the sweatshirt "What's A Matta U"

I have a lifelong obsession with puns, that probably comes from Rocky & Bullwinkle.
But while in the way-back machine, don't forget;
Beany & Cecil (and Peabody & Shermen, of course)
Clutch Cargo should get some mention for the most disgusting animation, with that lip thing.

The Middendorf portfolio of cartoons from back in the day where a lot like the above. There where quite a few contributing artists.
Most of the cartoons where triple X rated.

ever see the old Mtn gazettes when Checker demon joined the regular comic? Had glacier glasses and a pack.
A smattering of Checkeer demon wisdom;
"Sometimes I get tired just smilin'"
"Here you go, a whole room full of tongues 'n' thumbs."
"My name ain't Jack and I'm takin' her back."

What Werner said above reminds me that the old round outdoor tables at the Deli contained some of the funniest cartoons ever done. Various contributing artist included Klaus, Swillnillus, Roy Dad and many others. Characters included Dickmeat, Sh%$tty the Fist and the pukeing Frog. Timeless relics from a long gone era. I guess ya had to be there..
