The thing about Ramen that is probably worse than MSG is that the noodles are fried in Palm Oil. Tropical Oils are not that good for you.

The Vietnamese grocery stores on Beach Blvd off the 405 in Huntington Beach have a great alternative: Pho ramen. They cost a little more, but they also come with veggie packets and I think the noodles are dried rice noodles so they are better for you.
