Tonight I'm doing my {almost} annual Valentines dinner at an old folks home. Love sharing the love and the old timers love it. Expecting 50 for dinner. Total cost is about $100 for dinner plus donated desserts. Get out and spread the joy, folks. It's fun.

It's based on Lupercalia which was a fertility festival of ancient Greece that was adopted by Rome and later on banned by Christianity.

It was not as exciting as the Dionysus/Bacchus festivals but heck... It did a mighty good second.
