Bend a spoon. Jan? Werner?

Has nothing to do with spiritual.

Completely material.

Just manipulating the material energy.

Then if you please, Werner, make me a spoon bending video of yourself, bending a spoon with your mind.

I'd like to see it.

It takes monumental amount of time to sort thru all the bullsh!t and sidetracks towards the truth.

that's why i'm suggesting concentrating more attention on this while sidelining the braying

politely suggesting the skeptics take a break and let us have a discussion with a bit less noise involved

so the skeptics are now noisily completely derailing the discussion in a direction completely different than what Jan and I started talking about.

there is something real going on here regarding electromagnetic effects that is a valid domain for scientific investigation

whatever your over-emotional opinions, you don't know it all...

so back off, jerks

walk the talk you spoon benders. place a spoon on a flat surface, don't touch it, and bend it.

and if you can bend spoons, you should be able to levitate.

Show me that you are not just full of bull!

forget the spoon bending already, that's not what this is all about

Jan makes one mention of an odd phenomena and you are all offended and up at arms

i never tried spoon bending and not particularly interested in it

i am very interested in the effects of electromagnetics on the mind, and there is plenty of evidence to start looking into this.

ridicule is not a valid component of the scientific investigation of phenomena

I'm on the side of calling BS to ANYONE being able to bend a spoon with their mind...

That crock has been around a while now and IF it were really true, it would be so well known and so publicized and so studied...

But since it ISN'T true...

Case closed!!!...

EDITED:

"Jan makes one mention of an odd phenomena and you are all offended and up at arms"...

Due to instant credibility zonk...

LOL!!!...

Pretty hard for me to take someone like this seriously...

i am not making any claims other than that there is valid reason to look into electromagnetic effects on the mind

every time something like this comes up some of you start making obnoxious noises and derailing any attempt at real discussion

those of you who refuse to allow this discussion and blast in making disruptive noises are the real phonies

Well Jan's off hand mention of spoon bending was rather specific - her students, after just one training session, could do it.

I would like to see Jan bend a spoon. Its a very simple, connected discussion ThomasCochrane and your attempts to change the topic are without merit.

Can you bend a spoon with your mind, ThomasCochrane?

I didn't bring up the spoon bending, hoss. You and Jan did. If you don't like the mirror don't stand in front of it.

i am very interested in the effects of electromagnetics on the mind, and there is plenty of evidence to start looking into this.

I took a community college course in electronics in Seattle in 1980. The teacher once asked if we had seen the map of emf radiation for the Seattle area, and said it gave him pause.

With the power now invested in me by Google I went looking for emf radiation maps with surprisingly, to me, impoverished result. There is no doubt something I don't understand.

Google may have ID'd me as a Scot since the first image for 'emf radiation map' that I am shown is a map of an Edinburgh marathon with helpful indication of toilets, first aid stations, mile markers, etc.

I found information on standards:

http://www.who.int/docstore/peh-emf/EMFStandards/who-0102/North_America/Canada_files/table_ca.htm

http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/internet/insmt-gst.nsf/en/sf01451e.html/sf08513.html#gl-4.2.4

Also a lot on potential hazards and products to detect and protect me. I put emf radiation low on the list of things to worry about, but am surprised by the lack of brightly colored maps showing me what kind, how much, where.

that's an interesting philosophy topic all on its own

ever notice when someone persistently criticizes others that the criticisms really are a reflection of themselves

Guilty! Quite impressive what JL knows about other people and what they can and cannot do.
-

Fair enough, MH2. Did you or did you not take the 30 seconds and do that exercise EXACTLY as the man prescribed. Doing your own version on your own time does not count, for obvious reasons.

Don't lie, now, because we'll know. You'll start equivocating out the side of your mouth (wildly off topic) again, or speaking tangentially.

Ain't this fun?
