Just for fun, I tried to post on the old thread -- no go. Thanks, however, to Norton and Skip for their efforts at the end there, and to Norton for starting this thread. I'll try to keep my general political posts here, but I'm sorry Ghost (and Flouride, who's been particularly vociferous about this), my climbing/OT ratio has been about 1:10, and is unlikely to change.

But the repukes are still wrong, and at nearly 40K posts I never found a good reason to vote that way...
how many jobs have been created by voting in rebukes?

Daniel, political threads are not "intended" as to bring climbers to this website.
Nor are all other non climbing threads, such as god or dog or science threads.
Supertopo, as the website states, is a place "for" climbers.
And Chris Mac has never made any statement banning or even discouraging non climbing threads.
Daniel, at the very least, all political threads are recognized to be replied to on only one
thread, now this one.
And as such, greatly cut down the clutter of a new political thread being posted frequently

And your ACTIONS exemplify WHY you COULD NOT get into office.
You'd have to leave your trolling behind.
No one wants someone in a place of influence who posts anonymously to a website with the sole purpose to "rile" people up.

fatty, my guess is Douglas is for real. if you look at the search below, it appears he's pretty open on the net, is a Tahoe photographer, and you can easily see his gmail address if you want to check it out, or ask the person at the address if they are the same person posting on the Taco. his address is not hard to find either. does not look like someone who is trying to hide.
