Dig up some pics and post a TR brother.

I've posted plenty of pics and TRs. What about you? I know you've begun posting pics recently, and I like them. Now, let's have a few TRs.

So, he finally remembered the old log-in (that he mentioned he had lost) and deleted. This isn't rocket science.

I have threads five years old with edit buttons intact.

Ghost, you are telling me to nuke this thread.

Not a good idea.

Political crap needs a single, central home.

You don't want a new thread every time someone reads something.

It would drive you nuts, guaranteed.

I agree. Wholeheartedly. The problem is that there are a handful of people who can't contain their need to spew, or their hatred of some other poster, and dump their turds into non-political and non-religious threads. If they really would confine their politics/religion/hate to a few threads that would be great. But they don't.

Why is that? Anybody have a thought on that? What is it that drives someone to enter a climbing thread and drop a turd into the punchbowl?

Just for fun, I tried to post on the old thread -- no go. Thanks, however, to Norton and Skip for their efforts at the end there, and to Norton for starting this thread. I'll try to keep my general political posts here, but I'm sorry Ghost (and Flouride, who's been particularly vociferous about this), my climbing/OT ratio has been about 1:10, and is unlikely to change.

Now that I think of it, Anders, I actually referred to it as a "black hole" in another thread.

^^^^^^his wife was coming to free him....^^^^^^

maybe he didn't want her to see what he's been doing in her absence....

But the repukes are still wrong, and at nearly 40K posts I never found a good reason to vote that way...

how many jobs have been created by voting in rebukes?

Political threads does not bring climbers, to a climbing website.

Daniel, political threads are not "intended" as to bring climbers to this website.

Nor are all other non climbing threads, such as god or dog or science threads.

Supertopo, as the website states, is a place "for" climbers.

And Chris Mac has never made any statement banning or even discouraging non climbing threads.

Daniel, at the very least, all political threads are recognized to be replied to on only one
thread, now this one.

And as such, greatly cut down the clutter of a new political thread being posted frequently

Jeff, you'll be relegated to the realm of ST for the rest of your life as you will never hold office.
I promise.

Jeff,

And your ACTIONS exemplify WHY you COULD NOT get into office.
You'd have to leave your trolling behind.
No one wants someone in a place of influence who posts anonymously to a website with the sole purpose to "rile" people up.

hedge, can you find any repub politician who "openly" called for political assassination?

here's one from a dem:

"That Scott down there that's running for governor of Florida," Mr. Kanjorski said. "Instead of running for governor of Florida, they ought to have him and shoot him. Put him against the wall and shoot him. He stole billions of dollars from the United States government and he's running for governor of Florida. He's a millionaire and a billionaire. He's no hero. He's a damn crook. It's just we don't prosecute big crooks."

that's paul kanjorski who was running in pennsylvania
