George Lowe and Conrad Anker probably have the oldest combined age ascent of El Cap in- day. I filmed them in 2005 going for Salathe. Footage can be seen here:

I was 45 on the FA of Allied Forces (VI 5.10 A4). Though not totally independant (it shares 100ft w/Mirage) this wandering line had 2600 ft. of new ground!

Seriously. I'm 47 and I'll be darned if I'm done. But then I have a 3 month old, so it may be a while anyways.

I think Ottawa Doug was 50 or so when he did Tribal Rite. How old is Mark Hudon?

Harding was born in 1924 so I guess he was 47 when they did the WOEML.

I was 54 this spring but you have to overlook the first three pitches that I was belayed on to truly call it a solo.

I belive that Charles Cole was 65 when he soloed El Cap. . .This was well over a Decade ago. . .df
