Ghost, Saskatoon must be reeling from loosing the game yesterday.

Yeah, probably. But since we're back in Seattle now, I don't have to worry about sh#t like that until the Seahawks lose their first game this fall.

Interesting though. I grew up in Sask, and now live in Seattle, and it is those two teams who won their respective championships last year. Too bad I don't really care about it. Not that I don't enjoy football, just that I don't really care who is playing, as long as the game is good.

TR dogged some harder climbing (for me) at Donner. Maybe it would b worth projecting, I did better than I thought I would. My buddy on the route:

Cool looking crag!

Went out today in the muggy nastiness that is right now in Vegas mid-monsoon season....and got on a stellar little route in Atman:

Lead it, let T-Pain run 3 laps on it, I ran 4 after that, and we boogied back to suburbia. Wanted to get back on Yin and Yang but the humidity was pretty nasty back there (mind you I grew up in rural south florida) so my desire to lead 5.11 was pretty low.

Cool views

Hard routes in the gym today.

First time in my life I climbed in a gym in Poland. 60' wall too.

They won't let you use chalk; too much dust. Instead they mix kalafonia (don't know the English term, type of resin from a tree sop) with alcohol and chalk. It is a suspension. You apply it and your finger stay dry for a long time. No chalk marks on the rock, either.

Instead of looking up at sweeping cracks, us Right Coasters often find ourselves peering through trees. But the climbs are still fun.

Chiloe, those trees look awful familiar to me...

Longstack? Looks like the area at the start of Lost Heroes on the Indiginous Wall.

Messed around on "Mels Right" yesterday...

I think AGE and SHINKING has made it even more difficult...

Could also be some "Shrinkage" involved...

Whatever the case, the fuking thing was hard for me...

After, did some easier bouldering...

I haven't been climbing too much lately, but went out to visit a route that has been on the list for a while. Got out a little bit later than expected yesterday and had a few delays on top of that (plus was feeling the night before a bit), but went out and got up the first two pitches of Only The Good Die Young in Black Velvet. Would have gotten more but it was my partner's anniversary with his lady, so getting him back in time was critical...

Good eye for trees, Edge, that is Longstack indeed. We've "discovered" that cliff and been enjoying it this season. Did Lost Heroes a few weeks ago, the tree protection on that crux seems sketchy! This photo is to its left, starting up Relic.

Climbed in the needles yesterday and the day before. Shoulder is still attached but a little sore. Weston that stuff looks great. You seem to know where some of the best splitters are.
