Steve,
She is pointing to the location of her friend's cabin where we spent the night prior,
It is situated on a feature known as Michigan Hill:
(the "cabin" is twice the size of our home)

A sunny tale on a rainy morning, thanks. Sitting here in the wilds looking at the snow on the wheeler crest remembering the blustery, golden warmth of the aspens.

Taking a break while scrambling down Guyot’s south ridge and having a look back up toward the summit:

And having a gander at our route ahead on the Continental Divide, featuring Peak 12, 750’:

Nice little rock glacier in this one,

I like the sunlit, fractured rock-texture shots as well. Sitting here on a gray day at my office.

Roy, you and Lisa are pure gold. Thank you so much for another wonderful ramble in Tarbusterland.

You should migrate this over to the Trip Report tab.

Peak 12, 750' where the Divide splits southward:

Looking across to the left, our final high point destination, heading east, to Peak 12, 668’:

When I used to drive back and forth to school in Gunnison from Denver, every time I dropped down off of Kenosha Pass I'd look at that thing and climb a ton of routes on the South face, in my mind. I never did manage to drag my body up there...... Is there actually any good rock on that South face, or maybe a chute that might be good in the Spring?

'Cud be a line there, but pretty unconsolidated rock (stacked talus wouldn't be an unfair appraisal).
Chutes in spring, probably tight & quite steep.

Still, quite something to behold from the proper stance.
That picture is coming ...
