You probably get a kick out of how often your name gets dropped around here.

Haven't seen you since Harding's memorial, good luck with the shoe company.

Juan, I advise you to cut bait, return to shore, and observe big fish from a safe distance. Occasionally they'll jump out of the water and you get a glimpse.

Of course the guy was going to go onto the Reardon thread and defend him. The dood is front and center for his shoe advertising. He ain't going to come on and say, "Yep, Reardon's a liar".

Hi John,

I am assuming that you are posting up. We need more old guys on ST that actually still climb. Some of these young whipper snappers are starting to draw the distinction between "I used to climb." and "I climb." Depressing.

BTW, if I tried your shoes, would they make my hair brown, my waist smaller than my ass, and put me on the sharp end of 5.10+? I'd pay mucho for the make over.

Cheers, Roger

Mr President, sir

I think what he was really saying, is he may know Reardon better than most of you. He said he actually climbed with him so he has first hand knowledge of his abilities.

If you know Bachar you would know he would say the same thing about Reardon regardless of who’s shoes were on his feet…

I would think? if someone were to risk so much they would want to climb in the best shoe they could.

For the record Sir, I don't know Reardon but John is my friend and I have no financial reason to post this.

Requesting your resignation sir

It was not really Bachar!

Hey Gramicci, I used one of your ledges when I soloed a Big Wall and it worked great.

Thanks

Mr. Gramicci, I feel your pain. However, I was lobbing a preemptive strike(I am good at that) to head off what inevitably will be said about Johns defense of Michael. Just getting the comment out of the way at the beginning. I will not resign until I have brought liberalism to its knees and taken over the world's oil supplies.

Rajmit, nobody in MA voted for me, so I know you are a liar. If you will check the Reardon thread, I spelled Dude correctly there. In this thread, I was just trying to fit in with the average idiot climber that can't spell.

Juan, that was the real John Bachar and I am the real president.

The LAST time I used one I soloed a big wall.

You’re right it wasn’t Bachar, he never really existed he just said he did. Pretty good fake on his email you think.?

“W” you’re a great politician here on ST as evident in last nights hilarious posts. I vote you keep on breaking the ice on inevitable questions.

I withdraw my request for Impeachment

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm new at this chat stuff but Gramicci said I should try it out. Don't know if I can keep up with all of you. How much time do you guys spend on all this? Are you guys drinking beers and stuff? Crazy....

Yeah Reardon wears my shoes and he actually does all this sh#t as well. Really though, it ain't all that impressive like people think. Well, maybe Romantic on-sight is... I'm surprised there aren't more dudes (sp?) out there doing this kinda sh#t. All these young guns are all killing it - what gives? Maybe everyone is out free soloing at night now days and they don't talk about it. Whatever.... hey if ya' need a good guitar check out Blanchard's sh#t - it's da' bomb. And Bush - go solo Romantic Warrior for us all, pleeeez. I'm out. peace.

Words of warning to the new guys:

half of what is typed here, and on bbs in general, is bullsh#t. The other 50% is half-truths, and the rest, well, the good folks shine through on their own merits.
