devastating...I remember watching her through Tom's lens' and thinking what a beautiful, strong and inspirational climber. This another heartbreak in a string of many...to have touched so many in such a short life...our difficult job to continue on to keep her spirit alive through all of us. Very sad.

Aw man, she just emailed me last week. How very sad. She was a very talented and motivated climber. I'm so sorry I didn't have much opportunity to get to know her well or to climb with her.
My condolences to her friends and family.

Werner... Always a nice image that somehow brings peace to this sadness.
With all that has happened in the past two years with friends and acquaintances in the climbing world I am beginning to wonder...
It was oh so clear that Chris was a girl who got things done!
