^^^Ksolem, aren't those Megas?

That's funny, I saw your post and ran out to the garage to check out the old shoe bin, hoping for once to prove you wrong about something.

They are Megas.

Ok, so here a sad tale.
A french chef that lives around the corner from me,is always loading his kayaks, up on top of his jeep.
This guy must be a monster I'm thinking.
So I try for a summer to run into him,
without that happening.

3 month or so ago I stopped by his drive-way, He Is very French, but been in the USof A for more than 40 years.

We chat he invites me to come paddling. I ask if he ever climbed. He emphatically sez NO.

Yesterday we are driving by, and theres an estate sale at his house.
Wife & I stop in. Sitting on the 'Cash-out table, is a 10 year old BD harness, My size.
Frenchy says oh, "yes, theres a whole set down in the basement in a bag, shoes and white puff bag". . .

In said basement are three big black guys, sitting around, not working the sale.
They ask me what am I looking for & if they can help me find something,
I tell them "A bag with a smaller bag filled with white powder."
There are more than a dozen types of nylon/plastic bags all in one corner.

I had no cash, and went up to grab the harness, have the price repeated, plan to come back, in hopes that the stash found.

3 hours latter, the crew sees me return and says we thought you were pulling our leg.

II search, dig thru, a stunning number of boxy strap carry bags,
some with wheels and telescoping tuck away handles,
some still carry-on size, and 2 27L back packs,
a wupped Jansport, and a near new O'Neill,
I chose the odd jansport

it had been stripped of its belt, although the remaining wings
show it was sown to allow for a harness..

the pack has a center daisy of sturdy pre-bunched stiff 1 inch tubular abraision resistant pattern, twised axe loop grey & blue. . with a few spots where this beefy webbing/tape has a half twist, bar-tacked at the stress point on the shoulder rise.and up-ward crossing compression straps, I could not find the model

All covered under a pile of Soccer, Hockey, BMW, M3, duffel style. Gym and travel bags, some cheap crap from the GAP.

Bingo,
in a Vendi square-boxbag, with brand new BD, Chalk bag, Locker, Atc &Mamumut, velcro, Goblins, they fit, the whole kit - $15.00
