Tami, it was explained to me, by somebody that knows, that they provide
frost protection, although there is precious little of that there now.
I suppose one can't be too careful with such wondrous specimens.

Tami I think that is Pamela Shanti Pack tweeting after a day of off width climbing. She is in her happy place, surrounding herself with items of comfort while sitting in her camp chair. She has her ab crunching exercise ball, a Valley Giant draped over her leg, a stack of offwidth climbing guides, a cup of hot tea and her platform sandals, which are way more comfortable than climbing shoes.
I dont know if any of that is true but thats the story this picture tells me
