Climbed two new routes at the Woodhood. A bombay chimney leads to a chockstone roof and short OW 5.9 I named it The Cursmudgeon. Adam and I walked down and left and placed an anchor on top of the Poodle Pillar, Tr'd a nice line mostly 5.10 and 5.11 climbing till eight feet below the anchor. Some tough throws to small holds with shitty feet 5.11+/5.12-? end at a stance just below the top. It's named Mr. Me-Auggie after my little poodle Auggie. Sorry no pics. Dank

Ron, parallel parking along the turn-out next to the road condition sign. The most I've ever seen was eleven cars... still room for more. Climbed a new one yesterday...Aug Jam a 5.8 ow to chimney, good fun. Also, witnessed the first female ascent (On lead) of the first pitch of Topographic oceans. A nice 5.10a. Going up in the am to place the bolt on Mr. Me- Auggie, and hopefully will send. Dank

Good to see you too, Dan. Nice work on the new line. Quite the little harem of hotties out there yesterday. My Ecuadorian partner could barely contain himself.

Got up there with Adam, did some work and some climbing. Didn't send the new climb... not the right to time. Oh yeah, Laine I brought your mug. It's behind the boulder to the left of the "cave" Dank

Laine,

we're going to the fortress tomorrow provided the weather's pleasant. We usually arrive at 9:30. Hope to see you there, at long last. :)

PS Noticed on your mountainproject page we share a lot of 4 star interests. Also noticed some Ben T guy gave psych tree only two stars but said it was at least as good as the Line, lol! "No acct for tastes."

Laine, the specond pitch of Topographic Oceans has a loose block half way, also you'll need to bring some quick-links or some biners and webbing to rapp off the second pitch...bare bolts. Have fun Dank

Ok I'll bring QLs. I was also thinking of replacing the tat on Two lips with QLs and some chain. Thanks for the beta, Dan.

It looks like the Sun Wall area is the group's first interest. After that...?

I look forward to meeting you, it's about time! :)

PS, I'll post up if plans change, but I think it's pretty solid.

Laine, I'll reimburse you for the Q.L's, got some nice Mammut hardware. Trusty, Ryan and I found a spice container from Bill Rose and Johnny Rotten describing the first ascent of the Steeple AkA Aguilee de Dread. Do you know anything about that ascent... for posterity. DanK
