Kenny, tell me again...

On the good granite in Woodfords, your preferred depth for anchor bolts, all things considered, is 2" and 1/4, or 3" length?

Put differently, are your anchor bolts at Woodfords in good granite sometimes (or always) 2 and a quarter?

Hi all, just came back from Facelift. Man, we need to improve our Woodfest to match Facelift. It was organized and executed perfectly!

Didn't go climbing, though. Got sick and left early.

On a side note, sorry for vandalizing your route, Kenny (or was it Shawn's?) LOL

Kenny, thanks for the feedback.
We went with the three inch, the additional depth
gives a way better feeling.

My bad, Dan. I've lowered off many a shut before without thinking twice. But I have many stainless hangers so I'll replace them this weekend.

Kenny, I think am missing that cam, plus 2 quick draws. The cam was marked with an "A" on the sling (could have faded by now).

Thanks Laine, the climb is good a bit loose, gear when you need it. I finished out on the left arÍte exciting. Is that how you climbed it? Also, have you considered beginning that climb down and right from the ledge start? I climbed the face on tr... some gear, a few bolts needed. Would be a good way to gain the ledge and avoid some loose rock. Dan

Dan - glad to hear you got on the route. I start just left of the huge broken left-facing corner below the first roof, climb directly up and traverse left at the horizontal that tops the finger crack. From there, up the left arÍte to the anchors. Didn't look at the face option that avoids the scramble up to the start but it's probably a nice variation.

I agree there's still some looseness in the middle of the climb but it is easy to avoid with great pro I didn't want to get into that house of cards. I think all the death blocks have been removed.
