I'm on the fcc site looking to get the GMRS license. I'm wondering if I'm missing something - is there a test or just the two forms (FCC 605 and FCC 159)? Oh... and pay the $85.

I picked up a pair of Moto T7400 talkabouts with GRMS frequencies.

Half watt TX on FRS no license needed.

TX on FRS or GMRS over a Half watt and you need license.

No test required at all.

Take the tech amateur no code license test (piss easy) and you can operate on the ham VHF and UHF bands with access to repeaters.

I'm KE0EOR

needed to get HAM for FPV and operating the radio for my vehicles on the 433 Band.

Just got a Baofeng UV-5RA and managed to figure out how to get the talkabouts on the same frequency.

Now how to talk to Werner? ;-)

Are drones good to eat raw?
Doesn't seem like there'd be much left on them after shooting one.
