Two glasses of red tonite, a Cal Zin, and then and Italian Sangiovese. With warm spinach salad and a slice of pizza.

I'm too tired to do parts 2 & 3...

Happy to report I led a dry life today.

You all still make me worry for my own safety when I come over here anymore.

Except Fritz. You drink with a woman.

Did I tell you idoits that my dad's name is Francis, not Boomer, that he thought a man we once saw who looked mean had "dishwater-colored eyes" or had "eyes faded to dishwater blue" or "something provocatively disconcerting" in his look.

Just don't try to touch me when I'm on this thread and don't call me Francis, either.

Or I'll kill ya.

I just got my Fires resoled. I'm testy. I wanna go climb. There ain't no good excuses anymore, they all got taken.

Boy, I wanted that beer, but I let the good side roll. I said NOOOOOOOOOO, then I went to sleep, then I woke up with a bad-ass foot/ankle cramp and then ended up here with instant coffee.

It' sooo gonna be a long night...

Welcome to SAT.

Mouse! of course most of us remember the Ogden Nash quote:
Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker

Why wouldn't I want to drink with Heidi?

Back in Idontno

We are paying the toll for Island-fun tonight. With time changes from "Island-Time" to "Idontno-time" we are 3 hours later on our current clock, and got about 5 hours of sleep in the last day or so.

My body wants to party ------- & needs to sleep.

Thank Godless for some Cline Mourvedre---or whatever the heck that froggie name is.

Gneiss to be home.

This sand photo explains everything---or not.

Oh, for f*ck's sake!

The Politically Correct pussies up here at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario are freaking because they found a songbook containing dirty lyrics being distributed by a subgroup of reprobates in the Engineering Society.

So f*cking what?! What ever happened to having fun?! Like, sorry if you get your panties in a bunch, or get upset when we shout "Artsies suck cocks!" or sing a bunch of dirty limericks. They wouldn't believe the kind of things we used to shout and sing when I was studying engineering from 77 to 82.

I really need to get a copy of that songbook. I wonder how many of the lyrics contained therein were written by yours truly back in the day.

Proud to say I graduated last in my engineering class, both alphabetically and arithmetically, thus proving I did no more work than I absolutely had to.

Where am I? Hiding in the basement where it's quiet with my beer can. Man oh man, is it ever freaking COLD up here in the Great White North. Another 5 to 10 cm of snow tonight, with wind gusts up to a hundred klicks. Dang.

But ...

CURLING TOMORROW! Woo-hooo!!! [I'm, like, such a Hoser, eh?]

snow and winds, but SURELY not like you-guys get...

aww, moosedrool, ;) ...say, not the one little glass of wine:

you are just getting good doses of neebee-speak, so you are being
snowpacked by it, and building up intuition, to know what it all means, :)
and--how to build upon it, :)
you've packed-in the basic for the vocab use, you see, ;)

:)

using snow, for a referece-quide here, :)
now, when SPRING comes, you may lose it all and we will have to have you
