Fritz, I know it's déclassé in wine-lovers circles to like those high alcohol wines these days, but those in-your-face- Zins can be so scrumptious! Salute!

I tend to seek out Zinfandels with "high-alcohol" from 15% to 15.5%.
I was a little worried about 16.5%, but it was dry, and there were no hangover problems.

all I remember is Dennys & McDonalds.

the partisan is located on West Main Street
between canal street and K street
in downtown Merced, California
I live 2.5 blocks away.
I didn't say I was buying.
*formerly known as trail's end, it's the only downtown "bar" on Main.
And that's the sub-way shop next door. And reflected in that window is the old serv-u drugs building.
Merced is a no-hate no-violence city. But still pretty miserable. Glad it's not Chula V!

There is a bar in Chula Vista. I wouldn't go there unless I was in a gang and alot of my homeboys were with me. It's more fun to drink and hitchhike.
