I still have an edit button on the op of my thread almost 5000 posts later. Sep 2011 was my op on Squamish Photos and Stories. Imagine if I pulled that plug!

Unless you're Paul Ryan you can only get rid of the header (OP).

I have complete copies of (and can reconstruct) all thread details of any thread I have ever posted on, even the ones where my wit was not appreciated.
