it seems to me this girl revels in the power to yank us around.

beware potential suitors. those kind of girls are debilitating.

yet another comminity conversation (wine thread) was destroyed by our friend

ms rainbow.

im a little pissed cause i shared some soul into that glass of wine.

she has some middle of the night emotional hisssy and its all gone.

whatever sweetie.

i'll not patronize your thoughts no more. you've lost the privelage of mine contribution.

thanks Dingus. your compliment is received with a humble blush (not of the wine kind).

you have been a literary role model for me since i began reading your tales back on rec.climbing. or was it tuan's mountaineering page?

we all are who we is, for sure.

but when someone repeatedly steps on my bootlaces,

i begin to step around them.

Yes that was a nice post! Like DMT and many others I always enjoy your posts. You could think of your posting on TR threads like a mandala sand painting, beautiful with the work dancing, like everything, toward impermanence.

oh yeah, please be careful with the drunk soloing stuff!

Yes that was a nice read at the end of said thread which I assume was deleted.
I'll toss in with the others here and say Norwegian you are one-of-a-kind!
Keep on keeping on and persevere to unroll that great ball of existential yarn.

Just read that post, Weege... kind of like sublime meets getting corked with a 2x4... very nice. You're an original and we appreciate your contributions.

I love t*r, and hope to someday climb with her. Boring people suck.
Also, I'll never pass on your musing, Norwegian.
Can't we all just get along?

Boring people suck.

True, but rude people suck, too.

And this increasing deleting of threads that others have contributed to is getting pretty far up on the rude scale.

Sure, the way this forum is set up, a thread starter has the power to delete her own threads. But to do it the way t*r does it is to say a great big "F*#k you!" to the people who have contributed.

I just want to make you aware that everything on that thread except her posts are still alive and well.

I'm quite sure we're all aware of that. Thanks.

I say no deleting threads/posts unless someone has been offended and called you on it..... (If you start a thread, and someone else has posted to it, then you should not delete the post. If someone posts a thread that you have posted to, do not delete the post.)

Unless someone says foul, and asks you to pull it.

Pretty simple practice...

But that's too easy right..

P.S. Edit: Norweg... you're posts are brilliant.

I got an idea. You can create a thread called: Responses to t*r threads.

You leave this post completely blank until you want to respond to a t*r post. when you do, do so in your Responses thread. That way you have complete control over your words/threads.

Good luck with that

When you 'delete' a thread you remove the ready link to other people's efforts, Without Their Permission.

How can that possibly be right?

BTW Henery Barber first turned me on to Clos du Bois. Or was it mouton Cadet??

t*r -- " ..you can start your own thread and post all the replies from the old thread."

t*r

norwegian is fairly new and he most likely does/did not know the undocumented method of bring back up a deleted thread.

More ingenuous for the OP to just blank out their own comments instead of leaving the work created by their egoist whim to fall to others.

I don't think so. I didn't notice who started this thread , oh, I see.

BTW, Crowley was condemned, largely for thread deletion as well, you're in good company.
