Whew what's that stench? Oh it's Bookworm fanning the fires again.

I love the smell of book burning in the morning. It smells like tyrany.

At least Obama has a personality.

Gasp! Maybe Obama's in their literature books as a story of inspiration for children of a single parent and not born into a family of privilege, and through hard work and perseverance has a chance to become POTU ? Sorta like the American Dream. No, not the American Dream or owning a 5,000 sq. ft. home, SUV, boat, etc. ... Just a thought.

When I google this, I find the same accusation, repeated hundred of times. What I don't find, is the name of a textbook and author, making it possible to check myself.

Of course, this is a fraud. How do I know? The liars cannot help themselves from exaggerating. 15 pages? There isn't 15 pages of information in existance about Obama. If I wanted to write an in-depth piece about Obama, I couldn't come up with 5 pages, much less 15.

It takes about 30 seconds on that blog to realize how fair and balanced it is.

Gotta say, though, that "15 pages in a textbook" is more subtle than the black Muslim misinformation campaign. Nice try, guys.

And if we want to look at cults, take a look
at Sara Palin's end of the world cult. . .

Karl Rove really is an extra-terrestrial. It must have been he who created the concept of being first to accuse others of having their own weakness.

Obama wants to talk issues while McCain wants to tell you all about how he is a maverick.

And it's Obama gets accused of fomenting a cult of personality.

Now if Obama wore cowboy boots, tight jeans, and big belt buckles even though he was from, say Connecticut, I might subscribe to his trying to start a cult.

Nyet!

What you get out of this is the fact that all the little guys who buy into this and try to market it lack two things.

A thought they can call their own.

Integrity.

Do you guys really think you're going to convince anyone with this Obmama is a socialist, terrorist, muslim, garbage?

It only makes McCain look worse and worse. Enjoy Obama's landslide, Americans are sick of the lies. I would not vote for McCain in a billion years now and the reason is people like you spewing this hateful crap are f*#king nuts.

Hey look! Another ineffective personal attack on Obama.

What's that you say? Obama's favorability lead has jumped to 14 points over McCain at www.realclearpolitics.com? Amazing?

What's that you say? Obama's leading in every single battleground state?

What's that you say? Obama currently has at least a 155 electoral vote lead?

What's that you say? www.fivethirtyeight.com has jumped to a 94.9% chance that Obama will win?

Well it looks pretty clear to me. Either Americans have gone socialist or people like bookworm are simply so intellectually bankrupt that they can only echo the whining accusations of the right wing hate machine. Feel free to repost stupid crap from right wing blogs any time bookworm. I'm too busy reading news to bother.

Some parents can be a school districts worst nightmare. They can sue for any frivolity. They can get a teacher condemned as a witch and fired for doing a silly magic trick in class. They can get books that speak truth excluded from curriculum. They can even try really hard to get a teacher fired for saying Palestinians are people too.

Jeff:
Obama pointed the finger right at the start when he said fathers have to raise their involvement in the lives of their children.

As I remember it he caught a lot of criticism for what he said.

So you and I now agree on Obama?

I am all for it.

Well, I'll be. Fats is talking issues. This comment is not been to argue against your comment-i agree, but Obama started down that path early in the primaries. I think he made a statement that black men needed to take responsibility for their kid's welfare (I hope I got the facts straight). I don't think it came up again. l think that the political purpose was to serve notice on the Jesse Jackson wing of the Democratic party that Obama didn't need their help. In that regard it worked, Jackson got so pissed he threatened Obama.

Interesting dynamics.

McCain used to do similiar things to the Republicans.

Did you read the WSJ article on the Wall Street Republicans' anger at McCain painting them as the bad guys in the current banking crisis. Angers me too.

I am a stranger in a strange land this week. West Texas, on my way to a diesel emissions conference, sitting in a strip mall sipping my latte. Last good coffee for the rest of the week.

They don't have McCain Palin yard signs aroung here--what's the point.

Rounded a corner and came face to face with a re-enactment of the Mad Max movies. At least I think it was an re-enactment. Gibson looked like Obama. The hoards were in Tina Fey drag. Then, as now, it's all about entertainment and energy independence.

God bless BlackBerrys and the greatest American invention-franchises.

"Excuse me. May I have another quad grande skinny latte?

All the best from one of the country's two hearts beating against the other.

Obama has made many statements verbally and in writing which distinguish him from "fellow lefties." His initiative in moderation stands in stark contrast to the fear mongering of the Republican campaign.

"I remember writing that I agreed with Obama's statement on families and education...........of course he took flak from his fellow lefties. Bill Cosby made the same statement a couple of years ago and he got reemed. "

This is because we has still been unsuccessful in addressing the issues of race that plague our country. Black intellectuals are defensive and pissed and for good reason. Maybe if we stopped talking down to them most of the time and tackled their concerns head on they wouldn't be constantly looking for the meaning behind the meaning in everything.

Or we can simply make them wrong so we can pretend not to have any responsibility and the world keeps going as it is.
