Just back from almost a week at Tuolumne and Lovers Leap... the trip report went up last night on my blog. We climbed at Stately Pleasure Dome, Daff Dome, Fairview Dome, Cathedral/Eichorn, and then up for a five star day at the Leap. It was my first trip to both places... every trip I come back from was the best trip ever... but this was the best trip ever.

Would love to read it. Got a server error. I'll try again later...
Whatever the problem, it resolved quickly. Nice read - thanks for taking the time to share it. Sounds like fun (except the cursed mosquitos)!

Hmmm... just tried the link, and didn't get an error. Could be blogger can't keep up with the demand at the moment (aren't y'all at work in the middle of the day on a Thursday?)
If you get an error, just hit reload... it seems to be coming up now...

Hey "theclimbergirl", just talked to SDC this morning about your trip, I'm psyched to see the TR on here. Looks like a good time, i wish we could have joined you but there'll always be more. Maybe Squamish this weekend?

Hey, jason... Haven't seen you guys in ages. I wish about squish this weekend... No can do. I have dog care duty this weekend, and *gasp* am going to spend saturday am with my nonclimbing girls.
Sdc was who suggested I post the tr here... I think he wants the world to know what a bad ass ropegun he is. There you go, Campbell!

hey! thank you for posting the pic (that's SDC in that pic, on lead), thank you for the email... and THANK YOU for the bug spray. I'm just about to start a new "tag" for my blog called "Nice Climbers" and you're the inaugural "nice climber..." ;)

hey sara, my brother peter and i were the ones who overlapped with you and alex at the top of Eichorn. we started the last pitch of the west pillar at the same time as you guys were coming around from cathedral. i shared the summit with alex for long enough to find out how sick he felt. glad you guys made it down safely and had good times afterwards.
and thanks for the cool TR.

hi sara,
nice TR.
Interestingly, I've done many of the same pitches, and felt the same way - even to topping out the Line in near dark!
Awesome trip, I'm inspired all over.

Hey, Blake! You guys were eating sandwiches, yes? In retrospect I wish we'd had a bit more time to enjoy that summit... but what's that they say about the journey and not the destination... it was a great day, all things considered.
TC, glad we could inspire. I don't usually reread my TRs, I just write 'em and post em... but this one I keep coming back to... just such good times.

OK, guys... I just posted a quick update to the trip report, with pictures. Mostly (beautiful) landscapes since we were a party of four, so the official trip photographer was mostly either on belay or climbing.
But, here ya go:

Blake -- I think you can see you and Peter eating sandwiches on the summit of Eichorn if you look really, really closely...
