dropping 10 off my usually muscular 245lb frame should be no big deal. Start making your checks out to me.... again.

During the holidays and shortly after I was up to 171 on a scale at work. They were going to have a diet challenge at my job and I thought for sure that I could take all the money.

By the time it started, Jan 8th, I had dropped all fat and now I'm down to 154.

Strange thing what a little booze and smoke will do for ya!

Count me out!

If I lost 10 lbs, I'd be eating into too much muscle tissue.

May the best chubster win!

Nature, you're too skinny to be on a diet. What up?

last April when Susan et al did the Diet Challenge™ I weighed 142.5 lbs. In the process of starting my business I did some Sushi R&D. As there was no one around to enjoy the extras I endulged myself - to the point that I gained 19.5 lbs. I found myself making cookies and eating a dozen at a time. I've also hit that point in my life where my metabolism has slowed a bit.

If nothing else it's an excuse to get back into climbing shape.

Seeing those recent pics of you, you appear to be pretty skinny. Must be the camera angle?

You must've been eating a lot of rice besides the cookies. If you ate only the sashimi, you'd be a lean machine.

You guys....

don't cut the calories, bump up the heart rate is my answer.

Susan, get Mussy to take you hiking, that oughta do it.

can't say - only gonna half agree with you. I've been porking out and not working out enough. Cutting back on one just a bit and upping the heart rate is the plan. Actually, it's not so much of cutting back but rather switching diets. More salads and less cookies. Maybe a week long raw foods cleanse.

We got six inches of snow last night. I just got some old Ramer Randonee bindings mounted on some new-to-me skis. I'm heading out my front door with my dog, my new found freedom, and some motivation to return with a sweat.
