Wow. Pretty damn interesting. Why was Warren taking such copious notes on the Nose? I guess he recognized how important it was, but also, planning publicity?

I think that publicity was the last thing on their minds, I would lean towards survival. They are notes from a logistical standpoint.
They are way up there and realize that they are going to have to go for it from here on out. My hat is off for them.

P.S. Warren did not have the time to write notes. I believe he was in charge and was very dependant on his partners, which he hand picked exceptionaly well.
