Well, I would have posted some photos in the sunrise/sunset thread but I'm out of town and don't have any of my sunset photos uploaded, but I do have a silhouette photo ready. So I'll jump on Jody's idea. Post away...

The original is much better but the stupid size requirements at rc.noob made me compress it. Enjoy

This is a dangerous manuever as the helocopter is attached to the wall but with velcro. Does this qualifiy as a silhouette photo?

Yes I got your email and I'll probably be here in the Valley then. Email me again when you come to Yosemite so I can find you.

It now started to rain .......

Jody-

I think the size limit on landscape photos is 48K, but I too lazy to recompress.

Your shor reminds me of the great Galen shot of Peter Croft.

Light was shining through the ice. Saw the ice column from our campsite and ran with Kendall to grab the shot before sunset. While we ran a shepherd came down the valley with his flock and I snapped this

It was fun. We planned to do some snowboard first descents but were there too late in the season (or was it too early? can't remember). Pretty casual stuff on the standard routes. I highly recommend it, especially if you want altitude experience and like to travel. Logistics weren't a problem. There were some foul smells in La Paz I'll never forget. The political situation keeps changing every six months. It's one of the poorest countries in South America.
