My friend Marc Urich from Switzerland made this superb video of their ascent of South Seas this spring, which he just sent to me via Facebook.
It's definitely worth watching, and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. He's done some very creative camera work, and the sound is excellent. I loved the way he wove our live AC/DC rendition into the rest of the video.
Great fun! A really representative showing of what it's like to be up on the Big Stone, in good weather and in storm.

Pete thanks for the memories, The South Seas was the last route I did on El Cap. We had a thread on here awhile back as to what was your favorite route on El Cap. The SS for sure has been mine.
Great Video Very cool

Bill,
I saw Angus and Malcolm and Brian live last winter in Toronto. What a great show! Those guys just never quit. Brian still sings as well as he ever has, simply amazing.

Gotta bump this one.
The sound is turned off, so I just opened another tab and started playing the soundtrack, which then lead into some Iggy and then Talking Heads….keeping this one open. Enjoy.
