She is a legend and of course a wonderful person. A true Yosemite and Ahwahneechee legend!

Edit: She's a Pomo legend. I got word from a friend that she is actually Pomo Indian. sorry Julia,..... but you make the Ahwahnee such a better place for your presents there!

My cousins in Norway make things from wood, bark and roots - baskets, containers, and such. Mostly from birch and willow. I took a few examples to the FaceLift, and showed them to Mrs. Parker one afternoon when it was quiet. She seemed quite interested in seeing how other peoples do such things. A delightful lady.
