Can anyone explain to me what the term means? Say you were writing an article about climbing, does the term mean you would become a climber?
Thanks

Nah. It's about drunks like me and Patrick Sawyer who go way over the line.

It means if you were writing an article about climbing, instead you would write an article about yourself NOT writing about climbing--all the stuff that you're doing RIGHT NOW instead of writing about climbing. So the subject is always the self, usually the writing self, but not writing about the supposed topic. Firearms, drugs, and hyperbole often figure into the mix.

Makes no sense to me. I read the wiki definition but it still eludes me.
