You going to be in the valley in September? If so, when are you arriving?
What are the best picture taking colors to wear on the big stone?
Looking forward to meeting you.

Mike... !!!
Com'on man...
Red, light blue... get some pastels, yellos and maybe even paisley!!!! Or polka-dots.. you should see him clamering for the tripod and camera when he spots them in polka-dots!!! We (all the bystanders on the bridge) move to the exits in the cloud of dust swept up with Toms enthusiasm for the polka-dotted big wall climber!!
Tom woudl be shooting you and only you all day long up there!!!
But really though..... think of the primary colors, and colors that contrast well with grey and tan... that should set up for a great photo!
Cheers

Ah yes, lime green. Wiggy has done a great job in those pants and now that reminds me that I must head off to the used clothing store to find something bright for this fall. : )
Cheers,

I think with Tom's new lens, the color is not as important as in past years - he can find you. But see his post; I imagine a nice color makes it easier to check your position without moving the lens first.
Soon, shaving may be a must, so you will look good for your closeup. :-)

Color is very important if you want a picture with some "pop". I don't really NEED any more photos for my collection, so I am really doing the shooting so that the people in them can get cool pics of themselves and for sure bright colors make the shot! I just got another lens... a 500mm Sigma for a little more than a grand that will make sharp images that cover more of a pitch than the great 800mm give. I also got a new camera that shoots HD video and 15mp stills through my lenses... so it should be an interesting fall climbing season for photography!!! I am coming up for a couple of days soon to take some test shots with the new camera and lenses.
Unfortunately I spent way way more $$$$ than my generous donaters on the elcapreport site gave me. So... pony up pukes! Keep me going Bros!
See you soon
Tom
