I have been working on a climbing logo, modelled after the MLB design:
This is what has developed after some number of hours:
Depending on the interest in this I may do a shirt order.

Nice Erik! Blow up the climber so he goes top to bottom, less information is sometimes better.

I've seen this done with a bunch of different subjects-
I'd maybe go vertical, maybe the subject is crack climbing, so it goes along with ,and is recognizable, as a take off of the NBA logo.
As it stands now, It's just a red white and blue climber logo- I wouldn't make the connection. Love the idea though, E.

Maybe it's just his leg in front of his stomach but the silhouette climber guy looks like he has a beer belly.
You should've traced the outline of Majka Burkhardt or somethin'

Here's my initial revision - thanks for the suggestions.
I am open to any other suggestions - also, I have already started working on a crack climber version.
Edit - nose fix for smarty-pants 8)

Can you get all the red on one side and all the blue on the other?
Thats whats distracting. If the pose is right, we dont need to see a representation of the rock.
