My daughter and her husband need to move and are looking for an apartment in san francisco to rent or share. Does anyone know of a reasonable (for there)apartment for rent. She has been getting a first floor for a steal but now must move. She has some parameters but I don't know what they are.
If this is not an ok thing to do let me know and I'll delete it.

One bedroom flat in a reasonable neighborhood is going to be $1200 or more, fyi. I have had a flat here in SF for 8 years now. It might take some time, but don't get into thinking it WIll Never Happen! It is also a good time to rent as the ffing economy is not up to par yet.

She has been useing craigslist. $1200 is what they were paying and thought it was a steal. They know how expensive it is. It is a real sticker shock for me back in nw pa where you can rent a house with a yard for $550 a month. Just thought someone might know of something.

sigh... in my adult life I have only lived in LA and SF, where $550 will get you a sketchy neighborhood, weird roommates, and really thin walls.
