As of a few days ago, there was no snow in the parking area at Saddlebag, but I haven’t been past the parking lot this year so don’t know what the snow conditions are like to the NW. It took a bit longer for the USFS to open the gate to Saddlebag this year. There is still quite a bit of snow on the north faces of the peaks in that area.

hAs anyone climbed the west ridge this season? do you need an ax for the gully to get down to the sw face? thanks in advance....

Thanks hommies! I actually want there to be plenty of snow. I'm bringing an ice chest out there and want to use the snow to keep the goods cold
