So, the deal is I have a voucher for getting bumped that I have already extended once and need to use by 31 July 2009. Unfortunately, all my regular partners are unavailable for a "road trip".
So, I need a partner in a reasonable destination for a week, or at least several days. I was leaning toward City of Rocks or Wild Iris, WY, but am open to other places (like Boulder area, where I know there are a plethora of Supertopians).
I am somewhat resistant to the valley or Tuolumne becuse I will be in Oakland for work in August and can get to those locations on your tax dollars (sort of :-) ) then.
So anybody looking for a week of climbing ?
Sport or trad is fine, I'll lead up to mid 10s, follow harder, depending on location, type of climbing, sport or trad etc. Happy climbing easy stuff too.
If this plan fizzles, looks like it's off to Texas for the International Congress of Speleology....
