I looked at the weather, the radar, the rainfall. I feel for you. Rained a bunch.

Did you climb anything?

Share your epic?

There was great weather there on Friday. Got up quite a bit mostly because I had a motivated/ strong partner. Sounds like you had an epic, did you want to share?

I live about 80 miles from "the city" and did not go this weekend due to very bad weather forecast. I posted the thread in hopes of hearing about just how bad it was. Looks like weekend rainfall there was in the 1-2" range: which is a lot for Idaho.

"The city" does breed some big honking thunderstorms. I've had some scary nights there in the past.

I am getting brighter. I look at the bad weather forecasts and don't go. If in doubt: I take my weather clues from the cloud formations -----like below photo.

For better photos of "the city" than I've every taken---go to steelmnkeys thread: http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.html?topic_id=873647

I grew up climbing there and it has some fantastic weather, but it is high desert, so you get thunder boomers and down pours. It usually dries quickly and you can get back on the rocks. IMHO

I really miss that place,
